Silver Surfers Day at Software Express, Ushaw Moor, Friday 25th May '07 As a provider of IT solutions, Software Express recognises the need to give older people the chance to learn how to use the Internet, as well as to broaden their computer knowledge. Therefore, we are very happy to be hosting an event to celebrate Silver Surfers’ Day, which will take place on Friday, 25th May 2007 at our head office in Ushaw Moor, Durham. The event is free of charge and is organised for all Silver Surfers from Ushaw Moor and surrounding communities. During the day, we will be running free 30-minutes sessions (between 9.30am – 4.00pm) during which all participants will learn: - how to search the Internet - how to send & receive emails - how to write & print letters & documents - how to scan documents into the computer - how to store contacts in an Address Book A detailed plan & additional information is available on our website at www.softwareexpress.co.uk. I just seen the shop the other day anyone know if they will be any jobs going they, as I really need a job... I have worked in IT shops (Harrison Computers) before and have a background in IT to a Diploma (3x A levels)
I also live in ushaw moor, so I will be able to work any hours/days...
