When i was younger I am sure that there use to be a old picture house in ushaw moor not sure if it use to be part of the winnings pub Does any one remember is this is true?

Well the picure house was in the Winnings, there was also a projection room in the Working Men's Club.
A mention of this is in Ushaw Moor Community Site....

There used to be two Picture Houses in Ushaw Moor, namely the Empire and the Club House. The latter was upstairs in Workingmens Club before it closed. Alf Rothwell
