Hi to everyone who uses this site! 
I have been reading this site with interest over the last few days as I'm in the process of buying a house in Ushaw Moor. I found the historical photos particularly interesting and I was wondering if anyone owns, or has seen some old photos of the Salvation Army Citadel on Station Road as this is where I'm moving to? I would be eternally grateful if anyone could give me some help!

Hi and welcome to the community, I don't have any photos of the Citadel myself, am sure someone in the community has one somewhere, lets hope you get a reply.
The forum and site isn't as popular as I had hoped it would be, but I shall certainly try and source a photo for you.

Hi Paul, thanks for the reply. I do hope there is a kind person out there who uses this site and can help me as all my searches at the moment seem to be meeting with a brick wall. 
I would also be interested in any pics of people who used the Citadel, such as the brass bands etc, or even just some pics of Station Road would be nice to start off with!

Cheers once again Paul! I had noticed the pic looking up the street the other day and was wondering do you know of any way I could possibly download a larger size pic. By that I mean a larger memory size with more detail, in order to print out at say an A4 or A3?

Its a shame there are no more detailed pics out there to print out.
