Can anyone remember how may there use to be in Ushaw Moor. There are 4 at this present time but I wonder how many Pub or Clubs thre use to be..

The big club.The Station and the Albion at the bottom of Station Road.The Cricket club and the Flass inn. The Winnings was the newest of the pubs.

Catholic Club aswell so about 7 at one time or another

there used to be a club down at the bottom of ushaw moor called locally "the bush" ciu affiliated my dad Walter Elliott was relief steward when the regular steward took his annual holidays this was in the mid seventies, other pubs were the flass, cricket club, big club the catholic club had not been built then the nearest pub to these i think was the loves hotel in Broompark.
